How to Quickly Recover From Illness

Sick is not fun. Besides making the body helpless, sick for too long can also reduce your productivity. In order not to linger lay limp, there are several ways you can do in order to quickly recover from illness.

Recover quickly from illness is essential. Viral infections such as dengue, typhoid fever or chicken pox usually requires a longer recovery period.

Here are a few ways you can do to recover quickly from illness :

1. Get Enough Rest


You do not need to be a superhero when sick. Try to rest as much as possible. The body will gain strength only when you get the right break. So, do not move too much until you are strong enough.

2. Eat Foods That Provide Energy


Some foods such as chicken soup, eggs, milk and others may increase the strength. There are also artificial nutrition supplements like protein powders and fiber biscuits that help you recover strength.

3. Repair The Digestive System


You may have severe digestive problems during the recovery period. First, eat foods that are easily digested, do not eat spicy foods, acidic or fatty foods, and eat with a short interval of time.

Several powerful drugs can kill bacteria that make the digestive system is weakened. Therefore, yogurt or buttermilk may help regrow good intestinal bacteria.

4. Do Not Let The Flagging Controls The Body


Often when sprawled in the house for days, it will make you feel lazy. This condition is not because of fatigue, and you have to fight if you want to recover.

Rest as much as necessary, but still do basic things like bathing, and walking around the house.

5. Taking Supplements


The body will usually suffering vitamin deficiency after severe illness, because eating improperly will deplete the reserves of vitamins and minerals from the body.

For example, malaria kills hemoglobin so you need iron tablets. To be able to return strong, body needs some vitamin supplement to improve general health.
