Woman Shy Talk about Vagina Health

According to a survey of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals conducted by the Harris Poll, women still feel embarrassed when talking about vaginal health. Sex, breasts, menstrual period is one of the topics surrounding the health of women but the women refused to discuss topics surrounding the tendency of the vagina.

In a poll that involved 1117 women aged 18 to 44 years about their attitudes toward women's health related topics found: 73 percent said the topics surrounding the vagina is a topic that surprising, less than half have checked the vagina itself, one in four people do not see the vagina in one year ago, 47 percent said discussions about the vagina should be private, only one in 10 women said that was not ashamed to talk about the vagina, only 14 percent of women said that talking about the vagina undisturbed as well as the men talk about penis.

Meanwhile women surveyed perceived their vagina as a personal matter that their partner or someone else thinks the vagina as something sexy, beautiful or amazing. According to Margaret Thompson, MD, founder of Renaissance Women's Group based in Austin said women needed to be more comfortable with her body, especially when talking about sexual health because the vagina is an important aspect of women's health.
