Tips on Makeover for Women

Written By TT on Friday, May 18, 2012 | 6:52 AM

Shape Up!
No matter how unique your dress and make-up is, if your body is not in shape, if your love handles and tummy are bulging out of your clothes, nothing in this world can ever make you look appealing. So, the first of the makeover tips is that you should lose some weight. Join a gym or a yoga class, go cycling or swimming, find an activity of your interest and make a routine of it. If you are really out of shape, hire a personal trainer. Exercising will keep you fit, energetic and bring a gorgeous glow back to your skin!

Re-do your Wardrobe!

I have seen many housewives who are in their fifties and sixties, who still wear the clothes that were considered fashionable when they were young. Also, many women, when they hit 50s start dressing up like grannies! So, another tip on makeover for women over 50 is to re-do your wardrobe. Check out some fashion clothing magazines and see what women your age are wearing. Or, you may go through various websites on the Internet which suggest clothes suited to a particular body shape. Most experts suggest that fashion over 50 or 40, should include clothes like shirt-dresses, pleated sun-dresses, wrap dresses, pants paired with a feminine blouse and blue jeans. The colors should be solid like black, gray, red and white, and the prints bold and classic such as stripes and checks.

Apply Makeup!
If you have not cared much for your skin, as you age, your skin can become very dull and sallow. This is where makeup comes handy. So, another tip on makeover for women over 40 is to apply subtle makeup which gives your face a lift, but at the same time looks very natural. Go in for muted lipsticks, light or neutral colored eye shadows, brown or gray eye liner instead of black and a foundation to even out your skin tone.

Change your Hairstyle!
Your hairstyle can actually make or mar the look of your entire face. Although, many fashion experts recommend that women over 40 should stick to short, layered hairstyles, still if you are someone who wants to look different and is game for a bit of experimentation, you can opt for some classy looking long hairstyles too. If you are not sure what kind of haircut and hair color will suit you, make use of the virtual makeover facilities available on many websites on the Internet. All you have to do is to register with them, upload your photo and thereafter you can put any kind of hairstyle or make-up on your photo and actually see how it looks on your face!

Accessorize!
If you read any makeover for girls and women in their twenties, the fashion experts recommend lots of accessories. Makeover tips for girls are simple. However, when it comes to women in their 40s or 50s, flashy or too much of accessories may actually look cheap. So, stick to just one fashion accessory at a time, such as either chandelier earrings or a necklace, when you are dressing up casually. With formal wear, opt for diamond or pearl sets.

In the end, whether it is makeover for women or men, more than the outer appearance, it is your inner being, your personality, which should shine through. So, keep yourself updated on the things and happenings around you. Be kind, sensitive and gentle to people. At the same time, carry yourself with a lot of confidence and class. Most of all, have a life of your own, apart from your spouse and kids!

The Importance of Selfish Time For Women

Written By TT on Friday, May 11, 2012 | 12:53 AM

Household chores, careers, and caring for a spouse and children, where is the time to really take care of yourself? I have heard countless stories of women who have let themselves go and have lost themselves because they are so unselfish. It is very common to become so involved in giving to others that we fail to give to ourselves. Selfish care is so important to our emotional, physical and mental well-being, and we can't ignore it. It is time for the busy woman to realize that she can care for others and take good care of herself as well.

Three common pitfalls

"I don't have time for myself." This is the oldest excuse in the book. Don't fall into the trap of believing that there is no way to give yourself undivided time. You do have time; trust me.

"I feel guilty just taking time for myself." This is a common feeling. Just the fact that you have this thought is a sure sign that you are a giving and caring person. Your loved ones have benefited from your dedication. It is time for you to benefit from attention given to yourself. You can actually give more to others if you are at your best.

"I don't deserve self indulgence." Think of the minutes, hours, days, years, weeks, and years that you dedicate to doing things for other people. As long as the amount of giving to others is more than the amount of time spent on yourself, you have every right to treat yourself.

Solutions for the excuses

Make time for yourself. You need to give yourself time alone to focus yourself. This doesn't have to be 2 hours a day. All you need is about 15-30 minutes of undisturbed time. You may only do this one every other day or so. It doesn't have to be the same time everyday. It may also be possible to have an extended 'me time' once a week (possibly for an hour or more). Make it often enough that have this special time before you burn out or become super-stressed.

Sometimes you will need to say no to people
. It's okay to do that. There is only so much time in a single day. It is important that you use it wisely. Prioritize, and learn to say no to the things that you just can't do. Reduce the extra favors on your to do list. You are not a favor machine, you can say no.

Forget the guilt. Like I mentioned earlier, you can actually give more to others if you are at your best. Consider 'me time' as the charging of your batteries. You will have more to give if you are whole in yourself. If you feel better, others around you will also feel better. If you don't take care of yourself, you will eventually suffer, and so will the other people that you want to take good care of.

You do deserve it. Taking time for yourself does not mean that you think you are the most important person in the world. It does mean, however, that you are important. You don't have to put yourself at the top of your list, just don't put yourself on the bottom. If everyone else around you is worthy of care and attention, then so are you. You not only deserve this time, but you need it for your own well-being.

What to do for yourself

Physical rejuvenation
. There are several ways to rejuvenate the body. Exercise that involves stretching and focused breathing can truly refresh you. Moderate exercise has proven to improve mood and overall health. After a long hard day, there is also nothing like a nice hot bubble bath. There is also nothing wrong with taking your personal time to nap.

Beauty treatment. Make an appointment with the beauty salon. You can get your hair and nails done. You can also book a spa massage. If money is tight, you can always try your own new look, paint your own nails, or just spend a little extra time making yourself look better than you normally do. Looking your best will help you to feel your best.

Listen to music. Put on your favorite music and just tune out everything else. Forget what you have just done and what you will do later. Enjoy the moment and relax.

Have a quiet time. Peace and quiet is sometimes all we need. Just clear your head or think about the things that you have been meaning to think about. You can journal your thoughts or prayers, or you can read. There is nothing like a good book. Reading a novel, short story, poetry or the Bible can be interesting, soothing, and enlightening.

Pray. Taking time to connect with God is a very needed experience. He cares about everything we care about. It is a great time to connect with your spirit and take a bird's-eye view of your life.

How to Get the Perfect Red Lip?

Written By TT on Thursday, May 10, 2012 | 12:36 AM

  1. Apply the lip conditioner and let it soak in, then wipe it off after about a minute. You don't want your lips to be slick or slippery, the lip conditioner is just to make sure that your lips are soft and that any cracks are no longer visible
  2. Line your lips with lip liner to avoid any spillage of color onto your skin. Carefully line your lips, start at the bottom and work your way to the top. Be very gentle when lining the cupids bow because that is the curviest part of your lips, it takes a steady hand to do it correctly
  3. Fill your lips in with the same lip liner you used to line your lips. This will make your color last longer and give you a truer more vibrant shade of red.
  4. Use a lip brush to apply your lipstick. Start at the bottom lip and work your way towards the top lip, use small and gentle strokes because if you make a mistake its extremely difficult to remove red lipstick off of your skin.
  5. Apply red lip gloss. Only smear the lip gloss in the center of your bottom and top lips. This will make your lips look larger and plumper, and of course, the red color is to make the red on your lips last as long as possible.
 More Tips For Your Lips

When to use lip stains:
Only use lip stains when your lips are perfectly smooth and you do not have lines around the mouth. To smooth lips, buff lips with a toothbrush dipped in a little water and sugar. Never rub too hard and always with a light balm for the spot.

Shine without the mess:
Bring a large lipstick and then lightly just a little polish on the inside of the fleshy part of the lip. All shine, none of the mess.

For high drama:
After applying lipstick or gloss, put a touch of white sheer shimmer powder on the dip of the upper lip and right below the lip. Perfect for evening glance.

Lipstick

Wearing red:
For that perfect red lip, even a pale flesh colored lip liner. Then rub a red lip stain on the lips. Follow with a moisturizing lipstick red. Dry formulas look cakey, super glossy slip that right. Avoid red lip-gloss as it gets messy fast.

Small lips:
Avoid wearing dark colors, they make lips look smaller. Not draw from a large lip lip liner. Instead choose light or bright shades of lipstick or gloss with shimmer that catches light in an amplifying effect.

Big lips:
Stay away from glossing the whole lip. Put some in the middle on the top and bottom, and then mix with your finger on the lips shine that does not overwhelm your face.

Whiter teeth:
Brushing with a little baking soda. Choose lip colors in cool tones for an icy white smile.

Liner ruins:
Never choose a lip liner darker than your lipstick. If you want to use on liner around the lip balm first use of a thick, uneven, dry color to avoid.

Bleeding lipstick:
Line lips with a pale flesh colored lip liner then fill with a moisture-rich lipstick with staying power. Avoid glosses as they tend to run.

Foods Which Help Regrow Your Hair

Normally, the cycle of hair growth lasts for about 2 to 3 years and during this time, each hair grows up to 1 cm per month. When 90% of the hair on your scalp is in this growth phase, the remaining 10% is in the resting phase which falls off. This hairfall phase could last for about 3 to 4 months simultaneously. Therefore, it is absolutely normal to lose some amount of hair during this phase. However, if you are losing excessive hair for a continuous period of 4 to 5 months daily, you need to consider hair loss treatments. Hair loss is something that all of us experience and there can be various reasons such as, hormonal problems, genetics, inappropriate diet and lifestyle, medical treatments or aging. Even though some of the reasons are out of our control, we can surely regulate our diet and lifestyle to avoid voluntary hair loss. In the paragraphs below, you will read about foods that help regrow hair effectively. Take a look.

Foods that Stimulate Hair Growth

Our diet is the only way our body can receive all the required nutrients. Thus, consuming foods that are rich in the 5 main nutrients such as; vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins and fats is very essential for a healthy body. All these nutrients have their own significance in the metabolism, thus should be present in substantial amounts in the body. Just the way our body needs nourishment, our hair also needs nourishment for better growth and health. Hair growth requires proteins, vitamins (A, B, C, D, E) and minerals (iron, zinc, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium) in adequate amounts to give stronger and healthier results. Find out what are the foods that help regrow hair, mentioned in the following paragraphs.

Eat Your Greens
Known to be the best sources of vitamins A and C are green and dark green vegetables, such as; spinach, broccoli, Swiss chard, etc. The vitamins A and C are extremely important for hair regrowth, as they help in producing a waxy material, sebum, which is produced by the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles. It acts as a natural conditioner to your hair and is a great stimulant for hair growth.

Crunch Away
There are various nuts which are used as foods that help regrow hair, because of the presence of useful vitamins and minerals in them. Almonds, are the richest sources of vitamin E and iron which are two important nutrients that stimulate hair growth. Iron helps produce more blood in your body and vitamin E helps in blood circulation, thus nourishing the cells in your scalp. Other nuts such as; Brazil nuts and walnuts, are good sources of selenium, omega-3 fatty acids and alpha-linolenic acids, which also help in hair growth. Cashews and pecans are high in zinc, which helps in protein synthesis and absorption of vitamins.

Yummy Coastal Food
For those who love to eat seafood and fish, you can have very healthy hair growth. This is because you will find salmon to be an extremely rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, hair proteins, and vitamin B12. These nutrients provide nourishment to the cells and roots of the hair, thus providing strong and healthy hair strands. Other fish such as; mackerel, catfish, sardines, herring and tuna are rich in vitamin D, that reduces hair loss through its conditioning properties. Oysters and shells are excellent sources of the antioxidant, zinc.

Hair Needs Proteins
Meat such as beef and turkey, poultry such as chicken and eggs, are great sources of vitamin B and proteins. These foods for healthy hair include vitamin B12 that enhances the production of red blood cells, and improves blood circulation in the scalp, nourishing the cells. These are also good sources of zinc, proving absorption of other required vitamins and nourishing the scalp.

Lactose Helps
Consuming dairy foods like cow's milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, butter, etc., could provide you with calcium, proteins like whey and casein, and vitamin B. These nutrients are essential for building the hair follicles and strengthening the roots of the hair. This is will reduce hair loss and make the existing hair healthy and strong. They are also sources of biotin and pantothenic acid, two important factors in hair growth.

Other Foods

A few other foods that help regrow hair are whole grains such as wheat and oats. Whole wheat consists of silica and iron, both help in absorption of important vitamins and minerals. Whereas, oats are rich in other minerals like potassium, magnesium and phosphorous. Citric acid fruits like oranges, grapes, lemons, etc., provide vitamin C that helps in the formation of collagen, a vital protein needed for hair growth. Soybeans include vitamin E and iron, and chickpeas include vitamin B6 and zinc. All these are important for hair formation and strengthening.

From these foods that help regrow hair, you can not only achieve healthy hair, but a nutritious diet that improves your overall body health. So, make sure you keep your diet and lifestyle appropriate so that you won't have to suffer too much hair loss.

For Her Wedding - Angelina Wants to Put on Some Weight

Written By TT on Saturday, May 5, 2012 | 12:18 AM

Most of us can't relate to Angelina Jolie's quest to gain a few kilos for her wedding but apparently she wants to look curvier in her wedding dress.....

The svelte actress is set to tie the knot with her partner of seven years Brad Pitt this summer and is keen to put on a bit of weight as she wants some curves to fill out her dress.

So she and Brad - who raise six children together - have reportedly asked British chef Jamie Oliver to give her recipes for hearty yet healthy meals.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Angelina has decided she'd like a more shapely figure when she weds Brad and is hoping to gain ten pounds. Brad and Ange have asked Jamie to suggest some recipe ideas for them.
It's bangers and mash and sheperd's pie for Angie

"Ange never cooks so Brad's now knocking up some English dishes like shepherd's pie and sausage and mash."

Brad - who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston - is also keen for Angelina to gain a few pounds as he prefers her when she has a curvier figure.

The source continued: "Brad would love her to have curves like she did when they met on 'Mr and Mrs Smith' in 2004.

"Jamie has been to Brad and Ange's home numerous times. They have a similar sense of humour and are all down to earth."

Some Ways to Be Cute - Ladies

Written By TT on Friday, May 4, 2012 | 1:59 AM

Young hearts know that being 'cute' is one of the best ways to get noticed. And if you think about it logically, 'cute' could mean a number of things. A concept as vague as 'cute' can get difficult to explain. And yet we labor on, 'coz when it comes to the matters of the heart, logic hardly ever plays a part. So young boys and girls (especially) and older men and women (sometimes) realize that being 'cute' is going to win them the edge and get them noticed. Is it good to be cute, though? Sure, what could be the harm in being cute? If nothing else, it is definitely an esteem booster. Then how to be cute is the eternal question that remains to be answered. In this article, we will try and look for an answer to that very query and understand what goes into becoming cute (for yourself, or for someone special). Read on for some answers.

Ways to Be Cute

Being cute could inculcate a whole lot of things. Attitude, looks, dressing, mannerisms...the list is endless. And at the end of it all, it is rather impossible to decide whether what one person finds cute and endearing is something that the other will find cute and endearing. But we can definitely try to give you some general rules that you can follow. Here's how to be cute and flirty with someone that you want to impress, or notice.

Accessories
Girls? Find a characteristic style to accessorize with. An accessory that sets you apart? A cute hair piece with a bunch of hair out (one of the best ways of how to be cute for a guy!). Nothing like a hairband to get the cute factor running. It has something to do with the whole phenomenon of being on the playground as kids again, with frilly frocks and bows and ribbons. Think about it. And while you can't go about emulating that style in middle school (and please don't), you can definitely carry the essence through with some cute ways to do your hair like using a hairband. Think of some other accessory you think you can make even cuter and use it to your advantage like glasses or hats perhaps? As for the guys? And I've seen this work, slightly untidy hair is perceived as really, really cute. The coaxed, pulled back and gelled hair might look awesome, but the way it just peeks out can be very appealing. Just make sure you don't look like a maniac. The idea is to get the slight out-of-bed look.

Dress to Impress
There are some clothes that are sexy - like leather pants or halter tops or guys with white crisp shirts and blue jeans. But then there are those that have a universal cute factor attached to it. For girls? Cute outfits like frilly tops, paired with cute skirts always seem to make a mark. And the guys? Try keeping the first two buttons of your shirt open, or try pulling the shirt out of your pants a little and letting it be out (This could work out to be one of the best ways of how to be cute to a girl.) You might think that girls don't notice these things, but they do!

Making Pretty
Here's the deal...you have a face, make it cuter by highlighting your features! A simple shave can get a guy noticed just so easily! And girls? A lip gloss of a subtle color that draws attention to your lips? Why not think in that direction? You can also try applying a little mascara or an eye liner and get a lot cuter. Applying a fruity perfume or a more masculine musk one can get you noticed just as easily and there's nothing like a whiff of it to set the cute factor in place.

It's All in the Talk
How you interact and what you say to the other, can instantly give you the cute status. Be funny, be flirty and talk sense. You could even use these cute pickup lines or cute messages to make the impression last.

Nicknames
Cliché? Hell no. It works, it so works. Now imagine you have a bunch of friends who call you by your name and then someone comes up with a cute nickname for you (not sickening, cute) or finds a cute way of saying an already existing nickname. Wouldn't that warm your heart? Why do you think guys come up with cute nicknames for girlfriend and vice versa? That is one of the charms of getting an exclusive name for yourself and one of the best ways to be cute is to start calling someone by a sweet moniker. (But be sure that they aren't irritated by it in any way.) So go on and find something cute from this list of cute names to call your girlfriend or cute nicknames for boyfriends.

Smile
You try to find whatever ways you need of how to be cute in middle school or any other section of school, but there is nothing, and I mean nothing that is as good as a smile. A potent smile. A smile can literally take away the awkwardness of any situation and make you feel warm. And if it's a dimpled smile, you're really done for. If you haven't realized the power of the smile then I suggest you get to it right now. Cute, cute, cute.

And that's how to be cute the right way and make it last and linger on. These are some of the ways that you can try out, after that it is all a matter of trial and error to see the kind of reactions that you get from people or that someone special and then change what you want. But then again, being cute for yourself and for no one in particular is something that'll give a confidence like no other. Try it for yourself and see what I mean.

Beauty at Home

Written By TT on Monday, April 30, 2012 | 7:51 AM

Beauty Treatments at Home : Face Cleanser
Do you know that you no longer need to invest in an expensive face wash to keep your facial skin clean? You have some natural ingredients in your kitchen itself which work very well in getting out the dirt, oil and grime from the skin pores, thus contributing towards facial skincare.

Milk
For cleansing the face naturally, take a cotton ball and dip it into milk. Next, apply the milk all over your face and neck. Let it dry for two-three minutes. After that, taking a fresh cotton ball soaked in water, cleanse the milk from your face. If you look at the cotton ball now, you will find all your face impurities sticking on it.

Curd
Just like milk, curd too helps in sucking out the skin impurities. Take some fresh curd and apply it on your face. Let it dry for five minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

Beauty Treatments at Home : Face Scrub
Face scrubs should be applied once a week to remove the dead skin from the face. They keep the skin rejuvenated, glowing and looking young forever, thus helping in natural skin care.

Gram Flour, Honey and Turmeric
This is a simple homemade beauty treatment recipe for making natural facial scrub. Make a mixture with one tablespoon gram flour, a pinch of turmeric, a teaspoon of honey and some water to get the right consistency. Apply this on your face and neck. Leave it on for about fifteen minutes and then using light, circular motions, remove it with your fingertips and water. Also refer to these homemade beauty recipes.

Sugar and Lemon
Do you know that sugar is a natural scrub? So, simply include it in any of the face packs or just make a mixture of it with lemon juice and rub it against your facial skin in circular motions. If you have a sensitive skin, you can skip lemon juice and use water instead.

Beauty Treatments at Home : Face Masks
Face masks at home should be applied once a week as they help in restoring the skin to its natural form. Face masks should be applied according to the skin types. So, know your skin type first before going in for any of the face masks given below.

Oily Skin Face Mask
For oily skin, one of the best face masks is prepared by mixing a mashed banana, some mineral clay and adding enough rose water so as to form a paste. Apply this on the face and neck, leave it on for twenty minutes and then wash off with cold water.

Normal Skin Face Mask
Fruity face masks are the most beneficial for a normal skin. So, you can take fruits such as papaya, mash it and apply it on the face. Leave it on for fifteen to twenty minutes, before washing off with cold water.

Dry Skin Face Mask
Dry skin needs a moisturizing face pack to keep it well nourished. Prepare such a face pack by mixing together one egg yolk and a teaspoon each of olive oil and honey. Apply on the face, leave it on for fifteen minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.

Beauty Treatments at Home : Hair Care

Just like facial skin needs constant care, hair care is essential too. For this, the first thing that you can do is to give up applying chemicals on your hair. If you go in for hair treatments such as hair coloring or perming or straightening, in the long run, they can cause great damage to your hair. A natural alternative to hair coloring is application of Henna on the hair. You will find it in any of the Asian beauty stores. All you have to do is to soak henna in water overnight and apply it on your hair in the morning. Leave it on for three to four hours and then wash off with running water, till the entire henna paste comes out.

Application of certain hair masks lends them an unparalleled beauty. One of the nourishing hair masks is prepared by mixing two egg yolks and a tablespoon of honey. This mixture is to be applied on the hair one hour before washing, left on and then hair is washed off as usual with a shampoo. Another hair mask, which is very beneficial for getting rid of dandruff is prepared by soaking fenugreek seeds in water overnight and then making a paste out of them in the morning. Apply this paste on hair and keep it on for half an hour, before washing.

Beauty Treatments at Home : Body Care

For taking care of the body skin, massage it regularly with oils. An effective home remedy to moisturize the skin and get rid of dryness is to apply olive oil on the body, post taking a bath. Next, take some sugar and rub it on the body, till it melts. This helps in proper skin exfoliation. Another home remedy for a well moisturized body skin is to massage mustard oil into it every time before taking a bath.

The above mentioned beauty treatments at home can easily be followed by anybody as they do not require any elaborate preparation. So, follow them religiously and experience your natural beauty shine through!

How to Get Back in Shape After Having a Baby

Written By TT on Monday, April 16, 2012 | 5:14 AM

Okay, if you are one of those women who only gained 15 pounds went you got pregnant, and then this isn't for you. See, I've been in pretty darn good shape my whole life - never overweight, worked out regularly and ate healthy. But damn! When I got pregnant I stayed on the regular exercise and healthy eating and still gained FIFTY POUNDS!!! I was shocked. I didn't feel fat, just pregnant. And I felt pretty darn sexy and womanly. And I thought for sure I would leave all that weight at the hospital. But I didn't. So here's some of what I learned about taking it off.

Things You’ll Need:
Patience
Self-discipline
Hope

Step1
Let your body heal. Whether a vaginal or c-section birth, your body needs to recuperate. This can be a heartbreaking time because you are really seeing your body for the first time without this awesome belly, and realizing UH OH, it is pretty far off from what you started from. That's okay. Give yourself time to heal and get into the rhythm of your baby.
Step2
Figure out the logistics of exercise. Everyone is different - you are staying at home, you are back at work, you have multiple kids. For each person, there is a plan. Trust me. It is just a matter of figuring out what works for you. A treadmill, a used jogging stroller, an old workout DVD.
Step3
Just 30 minutes. If you can give that to yourself everyday, that would be ideal. If you try for it everyday and wind up with 3-4 times a week, that's good. Finding time for you can feel impossible, but I promise, it's not. I come home from work and take my daughter for a walk for 20-30 minutes. It is my time to come down from the work day.
Sometimes my husband will watch her in the morning so I exercise. I know you are exhausted. But here is the secret - exercising every day actually gives you more energy. Try it. You can live better on the 4-6 hours of sleep you are getting every night and the 10-12 hours your are working every day as a full time mom or working outside the home.
Step4
Take time to tone too. Burning off the fat is made all the easier by building muscle mass. And as much as we all wish we had the personal trainers and nannies of the Caleb moms, most of us don't. So to keep it simple. Start with 25 push ups and sit ups. Then tack on 5-10 more a week and work your way up to 100. If you can actually break away and take a yoga or toning class, the entire better.
Step5
Watch your eating. When you are pregnant, you are encouraged to indulge, and most of us do. But the good thing about eating during pregnancy is that you learn more about nutrition than ever before because you become hyper-aware of what you are putting into your body. Keep up this practice, because now you need to take care of you for YOU. Continuing to eat healthy, fresh foods without hydrogenated soybeans or refined sugar is great. Just cut the portions in HALF so you can ultimately burn more calories than you eat...the only sure-fire way to lose weight.
Step6
Give yourself time. Your body isn't going to look just like it did before you got pregnant right away. I've still got that last damn five pounds and my daughter is almost a year old. But I'm active, I'm healthy and I know I'll get there. You will too.

Making Your Hair Glow Faster

Written By TT on Friday, April 13, 2012 | 7:37 AM

To learn how to make your hair grow faster, all you have to know is how to treat your body. Everything from the food you eat to your hairstyles and the stress in your life can affect how your hair grows and how it looks. Learning basic tips about hair care will make it that much stronger and healthier. Consider the following information when trying to make your hair grow at a faster rate.

The key to learning how to make your hair grow faster is to feed it vitamins. If you eat a balanced diet full of vitamins, your hair will grow faster and look healthier. Look for foods that are rich in vitamins A, B, C and E. For example, a diet full of fish, spinach and yogurt is one that will give you thick, shiny and strong hair.

Another surefire way to make your hair grow faster is to receive regular trims. This way, you can rid yourself of dead or split ends. If you have dead ends, this will slow down your hair growth.

Try massaging your scalp for two minutes each day if you want your hair to grow faster. Doing this increases your head's circulation which in turn makes hair grow at a faster rate. To do this, rub your fingertips in a circular motion on your scalp for two minutes in the morning.

Lastly, if you want your hair to grow fast, you need to treat it well. Thus, don't brush your hair when it's wet, use shampoos and conditioners that are specific to your hair type and try to limit the amount of heated styling or dyes you use on your hair. Try not to pull your hair into super-tight hairstyles, as this could affect your scalp's pores and the hair growth process. If your hair is damaged, it will not grow as fast.

How Make Your Breasts Bigger Naturally ?

Written By TT on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 | 6:50 AM

There are many ways that you can do to make your breasts bigger without having to undergo a surgery or other expensive procedure. Listed below are some of the most effective natural methods to help you increase your breast size in a healthy way and without spending a dime.

Tip #1: Eat fresh fruits and vegetables Nothing is more natural and healthier than eating fresh fruits and vegetables. A nice fruit or vegetable salad will help you gain the right amount of healthy fat to improve the size of your breasts. Some fruits and vegetables that will improve your breast size include avocado, dill, black olives, strawberries, and blueberries.

Tip #2: Massage your breasts Many women do not believe in the miracle in massaging their breasts. They don't know that massaging your breasts releases hormones that will naturally grow your breasts. Try massaging your breasts every night. You can also use massage oils to help increase the stimulation to release the hormones.

Tip #3: Do some chest exercises Push-ups and jumping jacks are great exercises that you can do to help you increase your breast size. Try doing these exercises at least 5 minutes a day and you'll see results after a few weeks. You can also do sit-ups with feet up in the air to help tone your chest muscles and abs as well.

Tip #4: Avoid anything with caffeine Caffeine prevents the growth of your breasts because of its diuretic nature (releases fluid inside the body). Try to avoid or, at least, minimize your intake of caffeine. If you can't avoid caffeinated products, try to drink water to compensate for the ones you lost.

Tip #5: Reduce your stress Stress affects your whole body negatively. It can cause hormonal imbalance that will inhibit your body to function properly. This also affects the growth of your breasts as hormones play a big part in the development of your breast. To get rid of stress, try to exercise more. You can walk around the block several times, do some shopping or house chores. Growing your breasts naturally is really possible as long as you follow your routine faithfully. Sure, surgery delivers faster results but, at the end of the day, it is still your health that matters not your breast size. If you are considering surgery, you should at least try these alternatives first. Good luck, stay beautiful and healthy.

How to find the right hairstyle for you

Some studies have been done that show 77% of women have the wrong hairstyle for their face. Are you one of those ladies with the wrong hairstyle?
Instructions
Step1
If you are considering changing your look then there are simple ways to find the best hairstyle that will compliment your face. First of all you are going to want to consider these simple questions before getting another hairstyle. How much time do you have on a daily basis to manage your hair styling routine?Do you have the right equipment to create the look at home? How much money can you spend to maintain your hairstyle?

Step2
Now that you have considered the amount of time that you can spend on your hair daily as well as the amount it will cost in maintaining it, now you can look at the styles that are suitable for you. There are things that you can do to create different looks but what looks good on one person will not look so good on another. You can not change your face shape so you have to learn to work with it. Certain styles look better on certain face shapes. Here are some of the best looks for certain face shapes.
Step3
Round face ~ Long hairstyles work best for your shape. Long hair elongates a round face and can be more flattering than short cuts are on you. Layers in particular will look better the all one length. Layers work well for all face shapes but be more flattering on round faces since it elongates your face. Wavy hair also can help create a beautiful look on round faces. Also hairstyles that give fullness and height at the crown will draw attention up and elongate your face.
Step4
* Avoid slick up-do hairstyles that have no hair whatsoever hanging down around your face since they will make your face appear wider then normal. Even just having an up-do with some curls coming down can make flatter your look. Chin length hair with rounded lines are also not very good for flattering your face structure. They make your face appear to be rounder.
Step5
Square face ~ Haircuts that emphasize your cheekbones at mid-line of the face are the most flattering to your face structure. Wearing your hair coming forward will help to reduce the squareness of your face. Bangs also flatter you face and will help create a softer look to your overall appearance.* Avoid long straight style that accentuate your square jawbone. Center parts are also not flattering for your face structure. Try side parts instead to soften your look.
Step6
Rectangle face ~ Short to medium lengths will look great for you as with fullness at the sides of your face and at your eyes and your cheekbones. Bangs also look good on you since they will help shorten the length of your face. Layers will look great with your face structure as well.* Avoid center parts, try using only side parts. Center parts will draw attention to the middle of your face and make your face appear longer then it is.
Step7
Triangle face ~ Chin length haircuts or longer cuts are best for your face structure. Shags and Wedge haircuts go well with your face. Your face shape is one where tucking hair behind your ears will flatter you, because it draws attention to your eyes and add width to your face.* Avoid long, full hairstyles that draw attention to jaw line since it will not flatter your face structure. Also center parts are not for you, it will draw attention to the middle of your face make it appear to be longer then it really is.
Step8
Heart face ~ A chin length bob will look great on you. Fullness on the bottom will add width to your chin. Center parts also look great on you.* Avoid too much height at the crown since it will not flatter your face structure. Slicked back looks also will not flatter you since it will draw attention to your face shape.
Step9
I hope that these tips are useful to you in finding the right hairstyle for you. Certain looks just look better on certain face shapes, so next time you go to get a new hairstyle consult for awhile with your hair stylist and ask them any questions that you have. Getting the best hairstyle for your face will help you look your best and feel your best to when you get compliments by those around you!

How to Shave The Pubic Area for Women?

Written By TT on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 | 10:13 PM

The shaving of  pubic area for women can be a hassle. The sensitive skin in this area is more prone to breakouts and shave bumps than on other areas of the body.

Pubic Area Shaving Tips
Trim first. If your hair is long, you will spend more time cleaning your razor than actually shaving with it. This will serve to dull your razor and, and a dull razor irritates skin. Use small grooming scissors and a mirror, if necessary, to trim the hair down to about a half inch. If you're worried about cutting yourself, use a comb as a barrier between your skin and your scissors.

Clean and exfoliate. Once you've trimmed, you'll want to wash away the extra hair with a mild cleanser and exfoliate using an exfoliating body wash or an exfoliating brush or loofah. Gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, which can otherwise clog pores and lead to razor bumps.

Continue with your shower or bath. Soaking the pubic area in warm water for at least 10 to 15 minutes softens both the hair and skin and opens the hair follicle, making hair easier to remove.

Use shaving cream, not soap. This area of the body is more sensitive than others, so extra skin lubrication is needed. Shaving with soap dries out the skin and doesn't provide as much lubrication. Use a thick shaving cream with added moisturizers. You can also rub on shaving oil before you apply shaving cream if you are extra prone to shave bumps or break outs.

Use a new razor. The older a razor gets, the duller the blade becomes. Disposable razors are really only meant for one use and dull quickly. More expensive razors with interchangeable heads can be used more than once, but given the extra sensitive nature of the area you're shaving, you'll want to use a new razor or head each time you shave your public area.

Shave in the same direction as the hair first. Use one pass, then rinse the hair and shaving cream from your razor before making another pass in another area. Once you have made one pass in each are, recoat the area with shaving cream. Pulling the skin tight, make a second pass in the opposite direction of the hair. Try not to make more than two passed over the same area to avoid irritation.

Allow the skin to dry. Pat with a clean towel and wait 10 to 15 minutes before getting dressed. This period of time allows the hair follicles to close and will help prevent shaving bumps by keeping the pores clean. Apply a light moisturizer if you have sensitive skin.
