Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson and her co-star actor Terrence Howard announced their upcoming historical film “Winnie” Saturday (May 15) in Cannes , France at a press conference during the 2010 Cannes
Production for the biopic, based on the life of South African politician Winnie Mandela, kicks off May 31st in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Robben Island, where former South African president Nelson Mandela was held as a prisoner for nearly 20 years. Jennifer will play Winnie and Terrence will play Nelson in the Darrell Roodt-directed film.
